Advanced Heat Treat Corp. Wins Safety Award

WATERLOO --- Advanced Heat Treat Corp. was awarded a safety award from the Iowa-Illinois Safety Council during the 56th Professional Development Conference and Expo.
The award was for outstanding achievement in accident prevention during 2008, according to Steve Grimm, the company's safety coordinator.
It was the seventh straight year Advanced Heat Treat had received the award. Advanced Heat Treat was one of 159 businesses, industries and government agencies in Iowa and Illinois to receive an award for promoting active safety programs and reducing Occupational Safety and Health Administration recordable injuries among their employees.
